The final object list contains a lot of deleted entries, some of which are still intact in the kiosk version. Use this GameShark code to load them into the Army Dillo arena, replacing "????" with one of the values below:

trees

Vine

ID: 0002

Dk64 shortvine.png

A short vine-like object with no particular function.

Round Tree

ID: 0042
DK64 roundtree.png

A 2D "billboard"-style tree, à la Super Mario 64 or Diddy Kong Racing. It has no collision, so it can't be climbed.

Log Tunnel

ID: 004B

Dk64 log.png

A log tunnel similar to the kind found in Jungle Japes.

pickups

Duplicate Banana

ID: 002A

A single yellow banana that appears to have no collision (even when you're playing as DK). The used version of the pickup is object 000D in both versions.

Mushroom

ID: 0055

Dk64 mushroom.png

A bouncy mushroom that also lacks collision. It's a mystery why this is under "pickups".

torches

Campfire

ID: 004D
DK64 fire4D.gif

A fire effect. Has collision on one side but not the other. Judging by its shape at the bottom, it was for a campfire.

Sparkle

ID: 006F

DK64 sparkle6F.png

A non-animated white sparkle, which can be seen in the Frantic Factory car race. Emits crackling sounds despite not being a flame.

Orb

ID: 007B
DK64 orb7B.gif

A glowing metal orb.

doors

Horseshoe Door

ID: 004E

Dk64 horseshoedoor.png

A fanciful green door with knocker, hinges, and keyhole (but curiously, no knob).

Studded Doors

ID: 0068

Dk64 yellowdoor.png

A pair of small but dramatic-looking double doors.

Bamboo Cage

ID: 007D

Dk64 bamboocage.png

A cage resembling Chunky's, but made of wood and bamboo rather than metal. How is this a door?

Wooden Doors

ID: 014E

Dk64 slidedoor.png

A set of wooden double doors. There is dark green shading on the back and inside the groove when loaded in-game.

buttons

Wave Switch

ID: 0051

Dk64 waveblock.png

A brick wall switch featuring a wave symbol not used elsewhere.

Blank Switch

ID: 0060

Dk64 stoneblock.png

A blank wall switch made of brick. It served as an early version of various non-weapon wall switches, as can be seen in both pre-release footage and the levels in this build.

platforms

Soil Patch

ID: 005F

Dk64 soilpatch.png

A square patch of soil. Yep.

Brick Wedge

ID: 0066

Dk64 brickwedge.png

A tapered platform made of brick.

Tree Stump Ramp

ID: 0085

Dk64 stump.png

A ramp carved into a tree stump. Judging from the size, Mini-Monkey may or may not have been a requirement for using it.

test

Ice Pedestal

ID: 006A

Dk64 iceblock.png

An icy-looking barrel or pillar.

jugs

Whole Jar

ID: 007F

Dk64 oldjar.png

A vase that resembles an unbroken version of the unused ones from the final game. (Interestingly, the broken jars aren't in this build at all.)

Crate

ID: 00E9

Dk64 woodencrate.png

A wooden crate with metal corners. Why this is labelled "jugs" is anyone's guess.

buildings

Character Stump

Hmmm...
To do:
Get a more accurate photo.

ID: 0087

Dk64 charstump.png

A tree stump featuring five doors with the Kongs' faces on them. The Kong textures look a bit glitched on this model due to an emulation error.

misc

Giraffe Head

ID: 00EE

Dk64 giraffehead.png

A motionless giraffe head with no shading.

Smoky Light

ID: 018F

Dk64 smoke.png

Some kind of semi-circular fog or lighting effect.

shipwreck

Blue Creature

ID: 012A
DK64 bluething12A.gif

A strange googly-eyed jellyfish thing that looks like it would've been more at home in Banjo-Kazooie.

Searchlight

ID: 0133

Dk64 moonspotlight.png

A searchlight that, for some reason, has a moon texture on the lamp end. Possibly an early version of the lighthouse beacon.

minecart

Flag

ID: 0193

Dk64 woodflag.png

A small flag with strange texture mapping.

bossitems

Ramp

ID: 0195

Dk64 mossramp.png

A wooden ramp covered in algae. One of these appears next to Puftoss in his boss arena, but it is impossible to reach.

enchanted

Beanstalk

ID: 01B6

Dk64 beanstalk.png

A small beanstalk that can be mounted and climbed. Despite this, it isn't in the "climb" category like the rest of the climbable objects. It has the same texture job as the large vine in Jungle Japes.

plants

Hmmm...
To do:
Some of these may be used in the early levels.

Like in the final game, several of the removed objects were decorative "billboard" plants. They aren't anywhere to be found in the demo proper.

Due to a rendering error, 003C appears slightly scrambled; the restored version showcases how it is intended to look.

Uniques

These objects are the only ones to have their internal name, and as such these designations are missing from the final game.

barriers

Dk64 rail.png

ID: 0077

A red and white railing resembling the forked route gate from the minecarts... only this one hurts you on contact.

rocks

Dk64 uglyboulder.png

ID: 0089

A rather badly-textured boulder.

snideroom

Dk64 dkportrait.png

ID: 0106

A small picture of DK similar to the one in Candy's, concealing a tunnel or alcove. The DK Island portrait is also labelled "snideroom" in this version, but it was changed to "snide" (in line with the rest of Snide's objects) in the final game.

shopitems

Dk64 canvas.png

ID: 018E

A blank canvas on an easel.
