Build Date

A build date can be found at 0xB0C98 of the .ELF executable. Note that it is outdated, as the latest file in the disc is dated July 27, 2000.

Debug Menu Remnants

Also in the game's .ELF executable are several strings from a texture viewer function, starting at offset 0xB2340.
The first set of strings reference an old version of the game's filesystem; some of the files listed no longer seem to exist. They were meant to be displayed in a selection menu:

staff.dat
glevel.dat
sound.dat
keysize.dat
test.dat
train.dat
stagefailed.dat
msel.dat
main.dat
system.dat

The second set of strings are for the texture viewer itself:

(%3d, %3d) : TEXTURE %03d
SEMI : %d
ALPHA : %d
RGB : %d
W, H : %d, %d

Note that while those screens can be accessed, they are non-functional, as there is no code for the cursor position, controller input registers, and texture pointers.
